In my own words: This was one of my first installation pieces of this scale. I wished to play with geometric planes put at different angles. The prototype model in the 3rd-to-bottom right was eventually discarded, as the projector required to be mounted on the ceiling, which was not convenient nor possible at the time. The animated visuals I wish to use are abstract and metallic, as seen on the bottom right corner. This sculpture stands out through its juxtaposition of the organic lines of nature with its sharp geometric edges. The aim of this this projection installation is viewer immersion. Its sheer scale and dynamic visual movements serve to create an entire sensory experience, ranging from sound, sight, and touch. The viewer is also encouraged to step around and view the projection from different angles.
